environmental and resource economist
I am an S.V. Ciriacy-Wantrup Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Agricultural and Resource Economics at UC Berkeley. I received my Ph.D. in economics from MIT in 2018.
My research studies the role of natural resources in how societies around the world cope with environmental change, and how policy design can help people better adapt. While this work is grounded in environmental and resource economics, it closely interacts with development economics, public finance, and agricultural economics. Many of my specific projects lie at the intersection of water and agriculture in the United States and in India.
I am on the job market in 2019-2020.
